Yang Jie, senior coordinator of China Transport Association and International Freight Train Service Center, gives the following suggestions on how to run china-Europe train and balance the number of outbound and inbound trains:
Firstly,
Governmnet should consider to encourage a certain degree of empty container return, especially for special containers such as refeer containers, thermostats and containers with special supports inside to carry special goods;
Secondly,
The scale of the export conteiner to Europe train should be appropriately controlled, and some goods with low timeliness, low value and time sensitivity should be removed from the train through subsidies to save the space to carry more high-value goods
Thirdly,
To use more refeer containers and encourage more fresh food goods to be shipped via China-Europe freight train;
Fourthly,
We should encourage local governments to break down administrative barriers and strengthen cooperation on container exchange and container utilization between local governments and National Railway Corporation
