Since the first China-Europe freight train started in 2011,the service has expanded to 22 countries in Europe and its logistics and distribution network has covered the whole continent.
It is reported that in April this year,the China-Europe freight trains ran 1,218 trains, carrying 117,000 TEU of goods,up 24% and 33% respectively compared with the same period last year.This has been the 12th consecutive month in which more than 1,000 trains have run in a single month.
As the rise in sea freight has not stopped,many carriers have issued further price increase announcements.Therefore, lots of foreign trade enterprises begin to try to use the China-Europe freight train to transport goods,so as to reduce the impact brought by the increase in shipping costs and time limit.
