The port is chronically congested, Hapag-Lloyd plan to take this step
Release time:2021-06-17 17:26:34| Browse times:

After months of mess in the shipping market, including congestion on the West Coast of the United States and Yantian Port and the Suez Canal, Hapag-Lloyd said it will make its shipping schedules completely transparent through its Customer Dashboard service.

Hapag-Lloyd stated that its goal is to make major changes by optimizing operational processes and schedule forecasts---including improving cooperation with terminals, ports and all onshore partners, to increase the transparency of shipping schedules to reduce delays, to enable customers to get the latest shipping schedule information faster, more reliably, and more actively, so that they can adjust the supply chain plan in time.

It explained that the clear goal is for the ship to arrive on the same day or within the same day as the estimated time of arrival (ETA) shown in the booking confirmation.

Rolf Habben Jansen, Chief Executive Officer of Hapag-Lloyd, said: "The on-time schedule and the transparency of schedule changes are important service features that customers value when managing their global supply chain."

Not only Hapag-Lloyd, the other shipping lines are making efforts to provide better service to customers. So do PFS, PFS will offer you the most suitable shipping schedule and the best ocean freight in this hard time.
